BlatzFilms is an emerging film company operated by Michael Blatz in Alberta, Canada.

BlatzFilms can provide private and corporate services including advertising, short films to enhance your project (editing included) and social media marketing projects. Basically, everything videography related is our jam! BlatzFilms will work with you to create a creative, unique and fresh look at every project I complete.
Michael Blatz
I have always been interested in filmmaking, marketing, and visual arts. I have produced many short films which can be found on my YouTube channel. In fact, I received a couple of royalty cheques from Disney for advertisement when my YouTube channel was active in my junior high school years.

In high school, I decided to focus on my true passion for Film and Photography. I also worked on small projects within the Fort Saskatchewan area carrying this momentum into attaining a Diploma in Theatre Production and a Motion Picture Arts Degree at Red Deer College.
I am building my portfolio and some mentionable projects are Congratulations (short film), Untitled(horror short), and independent videography projects.

I enjoy traveling, cooking, and photography all while developing my skills as a cinematographer, editor, and entrepreneur.
I am a member of the Directors Guild of Canada along with IATSE Calgary, Local 212.
